Helix Redone + Future piercings and Tattoos

The first day I got my piercing
Though I was happy to get my helix done back in the end of July, I didn't really like the position of it. It was too low, plus, during work, the back of it got stuck in my hairnet. I decided, rather than get a different type of jewelry in it, I'll just get it redone! I got it done October 28, 2015. The place I got it done at was really nice and the piercer was very cooperative with what i wanted. I got my other helix jewelry back in a little bag. So far its healing well. The other helix hole has faded, though there will always be a tiny dent to where it once was. Barely noticeable though. A helix piercing takes 6 months to a year to fully heal, maybe even longer! It all depends on how well you take care of it.

Triple Spike Helix
I would really like to get more piercings in the future. When I was at warped tour, I saw a person who had three spike helix piercings, equally spaced out, on their upper ear. It looked really cool and I want to get that done on my right ear! I also hope to get the daith (Maybe the heart jewelry) on my left ear as well as tragus, though I am not sure which side. They have really cool jewelry for all of them! I just can't wait til my helix is fully healed.
Daith

I seek to get some sort of tattoo to cover my scars on my left arm. I have a good idea to what I want. It is a feather with tiny birds coming out of it. Because of my depression, I really hope I can get those scars covered with a tattoo that shows me that I have gotten through my depression. Some days are harder than others though.
Unfortunately I won't be able to get any more piercings or tattoos until I move out of my parents' house. It really sucks. But it is what it is.

New Cartilage Piercing!

Yesterday I got my cartilage done. All week I was excited and nervous! I already knew where I wanted it on my ear. Before I got it done, I was very nervous because I didn't know if it would hurt a lot or not. My mom was there to be my comforter while I was getting pierced. I was pierced with a needle, not a gun. The guns can shatter your ear and lengthen the healing process, which is typically 6-8 months. It can go longer though. It depends on how well you care for it and your body. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 2. It didn't really hurt at all despite my ear bleeding a little. While the jewelry was put in, it hurt a little. Other than that, it was fine. My whole left ear was red though as my friend and I hung out together at the mall. It hurt bad. It felt hot and was throbbing. Eventually it felt better.
Last night I had cleaned it with H2Ocean. I had some left over when I had gotten my 2nd row on my lobes pierced. It was tender as I cleaned it. It bleed a little too. I didn't twist the piercing because the piercer had told me not to because it can lengthen the healing time, plus it hurts Iikr hell. Q-tips work great for cleaning it! Really gets in the hard places that a cotton ball can't.
At night, I couldn't sleep on that side at all. It hurt too much. As a result, I had to sleep on my other side, which was uncomfortable. It hurt a lot all night and I didn't get much sleep. I was tossing and turning. I know that the next couple days will be rough during cleaning it and sleeping, but it was all worth it. I hope that it heals quickly and efficiently so that I will be able to change it to a new one. But for now, it must stay in until it's fully healed, which will seem like forever for me!

Animal Crossing New Leaf

Over the past year, I have been playing a game that I am just addicted to. It's fun, enjoyable, and does have some challenging parts to it. It is Animal Crossing. When I was younger, our family had the GameCube version of it. I would be playing it for hours, having fun by talking to the animals, riding the train, completing tasks, etc. in this new game you can do even more! I can finally go to the new and improved island, visit other people's towns, and unlock even more items! I love every bit of it. You can also create paths in your town and use the qr code scanner to scan codes! It is a great nostalgic game to have and go back to.

Piercing Update

So yesterday I got my ears pierced. It almost didn't get done because of ID, verification, etc so I wasn't able to go to the place I wanted. I had to go to the place I had gotten my ears pierced the first time, Piercing Pagoda. The same thing happened there, needed ID or whatever despite not just one but both my parents being there to say its okay. Finally after a long while I was able to get it done.
It hurt a little more than my first lobes probably because they were done separately and not at the same time, and they have never been pierced. On a scale of 1 to 5, these were a 2.
I got the little purple dots to mark where I got them done. Sadly one of them was not aligned to the dot but the good news is my hair is covering that ear so it won't be that evident unless I wear a ponytail or something.
I also got this cleaner, which was on sale because I had gotten my ears pierced. It is crap. It doesn't work well so I have to resort to another cleaner: Sea salt. This morning I cleaned them with sea salt the way +BreeAnn Barbie does, using q-tips and a mix of sea salt. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywAYrmpSAEw&index=3&list=PLqJ08hND5rkU8YsMzko5xYDdNErjCK9Vv) The piercing hurt a bit when I was moving them but that is typical when you have a new piercing. I tried to get the purple dots of but I couldn't. I think it'll just take a while. I don't want to irritate the piercings too much.
They are still sore, especially last night when I was sleeping. I have to sleep on one side so it was a bit difficult with the new piercings.
I am happy with the way they turned out. They are tiny titanium studs and compliment my other earrings.

NEW PIERCING!

Today I might get my second row of earrings. I am so excited and I hope to get a video too so I can post it on my YouTube channel(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCED2oQoV1VF-4R5LIx6fHhg) and on here. I will be getting it done at a local place in the mall called Big Ink. It has great reviews of the piercings/tattoos. Having it done means I will have the responsibility of cleaning it again and being careful to take care of it. I will also not be able to change them for a while in order to make sure they healed fully.

Earring Piercing Experience

So its been about 3 months since I got my earrings pierced. I have had my ears pierced before years ago but they became infected. The first time I had gotten them pierced at Piercing Pagoda, a kiosk in my mall. It went really well. I remember having to wear band-aids over them when they were still new 'cause I played soccer when I was younger. I must not have taken care of them well and I either changed them too early or I wore cheap earrings from Claire's; probably both. When they became infected I tried to heal them but gave up and let them close. Later I had them re-pierced at Claire's this time when we were on vacation. They really just poked a needle through it since my ear piercings never closed up. The same thing happened: Didn't take care of them well, got infected, and gave up. Last year I got them pierced at Piercing Pagoda in December, for a Christmas present, because I had the urge to get them pierced again. People at my school were wearing cool ones, and I wanted to wear them again. I got them done at the same time in the same hole. The hole had scared and the people were able to place the earring in the same hole. It didn't really hurt at all: a 1 on a scale of 10. I was nervous but luckily my friend was with me to comfort me. You should never be alone when getting a piercing. Even if the friend isn't getting one, you know they'll be there to calm and support your decision.
I had to clean them every morning and night. I used alcohol but later I learned that sea salt works best. Alcohol dries out and irritates your piercing. Though sea salt may sting your piercing when it's first healing, it will better help it heal. (Resource from +BreeAnn Barbie ))
I have to be more aware and careful of what I wear in my ear lobes. My skin is sensitive (get terrible dry skin in the winter) so I can only wear metals such as surgical steel, gold, sterling silver, and titanium. I was pierced with titanium. I now know that I should not buy earrings from Claire's or get my ears pierced there. I also must be careful to look at what the earrings are made of when I buy them online or in stores.
My birthday is coming up and I hope I get new earrings! SO far I only have two pair: the black titanium studs I was pierced with and these small sterling hoops with tiny beads that my Aunt bought me when we were in Florida. They were a great deal!
