iHome Dock issues

I was wondering what the best kind of iHome dock for the iPod Touch 5 is? Recently I bought the iPL10 but I've been havings issues with it. The dock won't play the music on my iPod. I have it linked via USB since it won't fit on the dock. It also won't skip or pause my music on the iPod and the dock when its connected. I am hoping I can return it (bought it on Amazon) and get the iBT22 which is similar. It has bluetooth and only charges through the USB. It doesn' t have the radio like the iPL10 but there's an app on your iPod/iPhone that you can get called "Tune In" that allows you to play the radio. I'm just hoping that it will all get worked out. :)
