The Perfect Setup

Today, I finally finished my laptop setup for when I scroll through Facebook, shop on Amazon, edit, watch Youtube, etc.
First off, my laptop needed a CD player since it is too thin to have one, and I needed to burn those sweet tunes onto my laptop. Later, the songs from the CDs would be moved onto the micro SD card that is in my phone. I have long awaited the moment where I can listen to my phone music AND music from my CD collection!
I bought it off eBay at a steal, as it was from a warehouse that didn't need any more of them and sold them cheaply. Of course I had to go with DELL, the brand of my computer.
The next item is the keyboard.
This is a new item, but I am loving it already! The Rii keyboard has a backlight, which lights up the keys as well, and is comfortable to type with. It will take a bit to get used to, but I feel I am already adjusting!
I cannot forgot one ofthe most important items to this setup: The 4-Port USB Hub from Anker.
This item was a must, as my laptop only has two USB ports, which sucks! The only downside is that the wire was a bit short, but a spare USB extender fixed that problem quickly! With this, I am able to plug in my wireless mouse and Rii Keyboard!
The very last item for this perfect setup cannot be bought anywhere, as it was hand crafted by my Dad. It's really cool and unique, as it fits my laptop perfectly! It allows the laptop screen to be at such a height that gives proper posture by siting back in the chair. The external keyboard contributes to good posture as well.
I have and plan to add more stickers around the stand, as I can customize it to my own liking.
I hope you guys like this little setup, as I already love it!

New Camera Upgrade!

Hey guys! So I have good news!
One of my Christmas presents was an all new camcorder: The Sony HDR-CX405! I really enjoy it so far! The only downside is it needs a MicroSD card, up to 64GB, otherwise it won't work. It doesn't have internal memory.
So I took advantage of the Amazon Gift Cards I recieved as well for Christmas, which I am very grateful of, and ordered a 32GB MicroSD card as well as two extra batteries and a charger, a bag, and a tripod!
This means that I will be able to record videos in a higher quality footage AND will be able to record even better when I make Pokemon GO videos! I will also be able to record my phone screen separate, without the mic recording both the game music and my voice. This means you'll be able to hear me better and I'll have more control over the volume of the game music footage once I edit.
I know it'll be a bit of a wait. I honestly am about to say f*ck it, and go out and buy a MicroSD card. I want to get a feel for my new camera, do some test runs and see how it fully works, before making my first official video.
I hope you guys are anxiously awaiting for some brand new looking Pokemon GO videos, but it'll unfortunately have to wait!
Please keep an eye on my channel for new videos!

Youtube Update

Hey guys, Discorded Soul here. I have some unfortunate news to share.
My second computer, which I received because my last computer had bit the dust, has also been receiving minor problems.
The port where it charges is bent slightly inward, causing the  computer to receive static interference when I plug it in and unplug it. The static can be heard when I plug it in and unplug it.
As a result, my fan is always going, on full speed, which can't be good for my lil' computer.
It was sent out Friday and hopefully will be back  in about two to three weeks. I hope they resolve the  issue so I can crank out some more videos for you guys!
The positive side is that I will have several pokemon go videos up and ready for you guys after I receive my computer again!
I am sorry for any inconveniences and hope you still enjoy my videos!

Two New Body Mods!

Last month, I received two new body modifications! One is a tattoo and the other is a piercing.

The first body modification I received on February 9th, 2017 was my very FIRST tattoo! It is a phoenix, simple, yet elegant, on my side. (Between my hip and slightly on my rib cage.)
It did not hurt that bad and is fully healed now! It didn't hurt too bad to get, especially since I took Ibuprofen before getting it done. Oddly, it was not what I expected, though the healing was an absolute b*tch! The first night was horrid, especially when cleaning in the shower. DO NOT take a hot  shower after getting a tattoo. It will hurt terribly! I was advised not to do it so, while it was healing, I took lukewarm showers.
Each morning, I would partially shower in order to clean it, then apply a bead of ointment. This proceeded for the next four days. After that, I applied Lubriderm lotion, a non-scented and recommended lotion to heal your tattoo, so it would not dry out and would relieve the intense itching sensation.
DO NOT scratch at your tattoo while it is healing, especially while it is healing. This can cause damage to the tattoo and design. DO NOT pick off the scabs, as the skin could still be absorbing the ink in. Just let them fall off naturally.
Also, while it is healing, wear loose clothing where the tattoo is at. Abrasion can cause damage to the tattoo as well.
Overall, I absolutely LOVE my tattoo. I will be actually getting it touched up and may even add some bits of color! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see how it turns out!
I plan to get more tattoos, the ones on my wishlist. They are subject to change though. I will keep you updated!

The next body modification I received was my Tragus piercing. I got it done by Starr, down in NYC at Pure Body Arts!
http://purebodyarts.com/
She's an awesome piercer and very friendly! I was a little nervous, but her positive attitude helped me feel right at home while she pierced me!
It was quite quick and, surprisingly, I did not hear a popping sound, like others who had their tragus done had claimed.
I really love it! It's so cute and in the perfect spot!

So far it has been healing quite well. I've been using H2Ocean and q-tips to clean around the inside, both the outer and inner part. Sometimes I even heat the solution a little and I've found that it feels quite good! The only issue with cleaning is that the water goes down my ear a little if I clean the inner part.
The major downside to this piercing is that you cannot wear earbuds (ones that go in your ear) if you have the tragus piercing, especially if it is healing!
Bacteria can form around the piercing if you use earbuds, especially if you do not clean them or share earbuds, and it can cause an infection, keloids, and a harder time healing the piercing.
Usually what I do is I don't wear the earbud and recently have been hanging the earbud over my ear, rather than inside. I've found that it works quite well!.

UPDATE
After about a few months of having healing issues with my tragus, I changed up the way I clean it. I now use a cup of warm water and 1/4 sea salt. This isn't regular salt from your table. This is salt from the ocean. Iodine is in regular salt and would be bad to use to heal a piercing. You can find the sea salt in almost any grocery store. I got the fine grain because that works best!

My piercing is now mostly healed and I barely have to clean it. I love the way it looks! The only downside is when I lay on the side my piercing is on, the bar is pushed against the piercing and creates unwanted friction that can create keloids, which aren't fun. I had a small one, because of this, but it went away quickly because I lessened how much I cleaned it, which caused the bump to dry out and disappear.
I honestly can't wait to get another piercing. As a result of not being able to get my belly button pierced, I came up with a solution, thanks to an Instagram post I saw.
The solution would be a dermal bar beneath my belly button. It looks so cute! I would need to find a good, reasonable piercer though, to do it.
I hope you guys liked this update. I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with my blog. I've been busy with life and college as well as many other things. I'm going to write more though!

UPDATED Tattoo WIshlist!

Hey guys! So here is an update on which tattoos I'd love to have. Some of them are new and some of them are the same ones in my other list. Some I do not want anymore.
In my opinion, having too many tattoos can cause illness since it isn't natural to have ink in your body. I'm not saying that people can't have their skin covered in tattoos. tbh, the greatest tattoos have to be big enough to not take away detail over time. Getting tattoos also delivers trauma to your skin. It heals over time, with the proper care and knowledge.
I already have my first tattoo, a phoenixx, though it wasn't on my first list. It wasn't a random thought to get either. I thought about it and thought about it, a meaning behind getting it done and how beautiful it would be. I will not add a pic of it here since its not healed or has colors yet. It also needs some touch-ups. I still love it, no matter what, because I will look back on it and remember how I finally was able to get it.

1. Semicolon

The next tattoo I would like to get is the semicolon tattoo on one of my wrists. The meaning behind it is quite serious.

According to   http://www.upworthy.com/have-you-seen-anyone-with-a-semicolon-tattoo-heres-what-its-about, The Semicolon Project, as that is what it's called, is a group http://www.spiritustattoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/music-lifeline-tattoo-1.jpg
Yes, this means that I have, and still am, struggling with the agony of depression and a recovering self-harm person.
The tattoo means that you were able to proceed through life, able to recover from depression, as well as self-harm, and live a happy life again. in writing, the semicolon means an addition to a sentence, which connects a similar idea to the first sentence. In this context, the semicolon means that your life didn't end, period, and you were able to move on and recover from the pain and agony depression really is.
This tattoo would mean so much to me as well, given that receiving it will give me the satisfaction of having gotten through the hardest parts of my depression and I was able to dig out of the rut and finally see the sunlight again!

2. Reincarnate
This is the second tattoo I would like. I'm not a huge fan of "word" tattoos, but this one I'll make an exception.
Reincarnation is something I believe in and will always believe in. I always fall back to it, if something bad happens in someone's life and a loved one becomes deceased. I know that death is sad and a sore subject, its sad no matter what, but the way I think of it is that people (or animals) always have a second chance of life. How good of a person they are and what karma they held leads to how they will be reincarnated.
"Reincarnate" is also my favorite song by Motionless In White. I love the song itself as well as their font from their "Reincarnate" album. That is what I would get it in; just a solid black (or even dark red) color, up one of my legs.

3. Wolf
Another tattoo I would really love to get is a wolf tattoo. Now I know this picture cannot be used since it is off of deviantart and it is someone's art, so it is just for reference. My friend also inputted on the design as well.

I'm getting it done in black, wrapping around my ankle, looking to be in a running position. This tattoo is more of a "I want", than having a meaning behind it.
If I end up unable to have it around my ankle, I may just have it done in a different spot.

4. heartbeat
This is the final tattoo I would like to get, though I know that they can be quite addicting!
It's a simple lifeline tattoo, specifically across my wrist for me, but with a little twist. It will have an upside down treble clef in the middle as well as a bass clef. In my opinion, it looks REALLY cool and is a good first starter for any music enthusiast or someone who simply just loves music.

These are all the tattoos I hope to get! I hope you guys like some of them! If not, that's fine. You are entitled to your own opinions!

First Tattoo!

Hey guys! So yesterday I finally was able to get my first ever tattoo!

As you can see, I choose a lovely phoenix! It's medium size and goes from the very bottom of my ribs to about the top of my hipbone. I absolutely love it and see why people can get addicted to tattoos!

Later on, once its healed and I get a few touch ups, I will have reds and oranges added to it to add more of a "flare" to it. I can't wait!

Tattoos are not as bad as people say. I worked myself up for nothing! XD
They certainly aren't painless, but taking ibuprofen 20 minutes before getting it done can sure help, especially during shading! Also be sure to breathe. Slow breathes help especially. No matter how bad the pain is, DO NOT hold your breathe!
At one point, it was quite relaxing, and I felt like I was going to fall asleep! Other parts were very painful, like near the ribs and the hipbone.

I honestly can't wait to get another! That means I must update my tattoo wishlist since it has changed quite a bit!

Here's an updated picture from this morning after I washed it.

Now, the reason I got it is because the way Phoenixes are. They die and turn to ash, then are reborn into a new Phoenix, completely new and more beautiful than ever.
This is how my life is going now. I'm at the dorms, living on my own, discovering new friends, and am discovering more of who I am. Not only that, but I am also learning how to love myself again.
This tattoo means so much to me and I will cherish it forever, remembering how I grew, even through the harshness of life.
