Updated Piercing Wishlist!

Over several months I have decided which piercings I would really like to get! Here they are, from the most wanted to the least wanted!
*Note* When choosing to get any of these piercings, always go to a professional piercer!

1. Industrial Piercing

The Industrial piercing is also known as a scaffold piercing. It is a straight bar across the top of the ear, usually at a 16 gauge. It is quite painful to get, and takes up to a year to heal. You can also receive little bumps behind or in front of where the piercing is. They are known s keloids. They can be healed with tea tree oil, but only apply it to the bumps. It is not to be used to heal the piercing. Use a saline or sea salt mix to clean it.
I really like the look of this piercing. It gives off that "badass" vibe and has so many bars you could change it to, once its healed. I would get it done on my right ear.
Because this piercing is somewhat difficult to perform, it makes sense to its price. It is usually around $65.

2. Snug

The Snug is a piercing of the inner cartilage. It is a unique piercing, as it is not seen often. It is usually a 14 gauge and known to be the most painful ear piercing. It is also very hard to heal.
I really love the look of this piercing as well. It is not something you see everyday either. I would most likely get this done on my right ear.
The snug is usually priced at around $45.

3. Tragus

The tragus piercing is on a small flap of skin on the inner ear. It is close to the hole in your ear. (The real one, not a hole for an earring XD)
They are normally at a 16 gauge. This piercing may also be the worst to get, though pain thresholds vary from person to person.
The tragus is one of the oldest piercings, besides the lobes. It has been trendy off and on and is very unique. It can also reject, which means that your body recognizes a foreign object in your body, the jewelry, and pushes it out. You can do nothing to prevent this nor can you know it will happen. If this does occur, it is best to just take it out be your piercer. DO NOT take it out yourself! Here is some more information about rejection! http://tattoo.about.com/cs/piercefaq/a/migration.htm
I would most likely get this piercing done on my left ear. The tragus piercing is usually around $45.

4. Midway Helix

The Midway helix is a helix, just in the middle of your outer cartilage. It usually follows after the regular helix, though it can be the only helix on the ear. Like the helix,it is usually at a 16 gauge.
As far as pain, it usually is similar to receiving the regular helix, though it can vary.
I would have this piercing placed on my left ear, following my helix.
Because the midway helix is just like the helix, the price is around the same.

5. Anti-Tragus

The anti-tragus  is a piercing located directly across from the tragus location. It is another painful piercing to get and a high maintenance piercing, as it takes quite awhile to heal completely. It is usually at a 16 gauge, though it can be at a 14 gauge.
This piercing is very unique and even more uncommon than the industrial. I really favor some of the unique piercings! You just don't see them everyday. They also have a wide variety of different colored jewelry, once it's healed.
I would have this piercing placed on my right ear, in contrast to the tragus on my left ear.
Like the tragus, the anti-tragus is usually around $45.

Tattoo Wishlist!

Here is a list of some of the tattoos I would really love to get as well as their placement.

1. Reincarnate

As you may have guessed from reading my blog, I am a huge fan of Motionless In White. I'm even going to see them at Warped Tour this year! My favorite song by them is Reincarnate. I also love the album as well. The font is pretty cool as well. I also believe in reincarnation so I would not be a "gimmicky" tattoo of a song title. I didn't want lyrics so I have just decided on the word. This will go on my left ankle. It would either be in red or black. I cannot decide right now. This would also be a good first tattoo since it wouldn't be visible at work, but would be visible if I wear shorts and low socks.

2. Feather

Though originally I wanted a feather with birds flying out, I feel like a feather would be much simpler and better. Though I am not 100% on the color skem, I am hoping it might be a rainbow or watercolor tattoo. This tattoo would go on my wrist. I might even get it on both my wrists. Though this tattoo would be visible, it would be small enough that it shouldn't be a problem. Work places are also changing as society is becoming more and more accepting of tattoos.

3. Skeleton Snake
I received this tattoo idea from the pictures on slides for the song of Army Of Noise by Bullet For My Valentine. It gave me the idea of "Hey, wouldn't it be badass if there was a skeleton snake crawling up and wrapping around one of my legs?" I really liked the idea of it. It would probably be black and grey, since a skeleton isn't just white. I would have it on either my left or right leg. I cannot decide right now. It would most likely only go up to about my knee, depending on how much pain I can handle.

4. Tribal Wolf
I have been a fan of wolves for years! They are just amazing and beautiful creatures! I'd rather go for a simplistic wolf tattoo rather than to go with a complicated portrait. This tattoo would go on my ribs, though I am unsure of which side.

Another New Band Found!

Hey guys! Sorry its been so long since my last post! I've been busy with college, work, and other life stuff. Anyways, I'm back to write another entry about another band I found about a month ago!

Its called In This Moment. I first heard one of their newer songs, Big Bad Wolf, while listening to the radio. It is on their newest album Black Widow. I then started to look up more of their songs, enjoying the beat of the music as well as the lyrics.

In This Moment is somewhat of an older band, compared to the other music I listen to. They were started in 2005, though they have gone through several changes in band members.
I was actually surprised I hadn't gotten into In This Moment earlier since Maria Brink, the lead vocalist of the band, featured in the song Contemptress with Chris Motionless on Motionless In White's latest album, Reincarnate.

Though I like a few of their longs on In This Moment's latest album, their previous album, Blood, is my all time favorite one. I have yet to discover more of their songs.

Big Bad Wolf is my all time favorite song because I really like the music video and the sound of it as well as the music video. It was also the first "official" song I heard by them.

I love how Maria Brinks sings in the band. It is unique because I have never heard a woman sing in screamo. I guess it's just not something we hear everyday.

In This Moment is another strong addition to my collection of ever growing music!

4 Month Helix Update+ Piercing Wishlist!!

On Friday, I got my helix earring changed after four months. It wasn't healing properly and it needed a stud the rest of the healing period. (I had a hoop before.)
This one is 16 gauge as well, which is the standard size for a helix.
The piercer was not the same one who pierced it. He had the jewelry I needed and was super friendly! He was quick and done!
Even when my credit card wasn't working, he was patient. It ended up not working and he didn't charge me the $5. Super nice of him.
It was quite sore, almost like a fresh piercing, when it was changed. I'm back to cleaning it every morning and every night with my sea salt solution. It is working, the soreness starting to go away.

I also have thought a lot about some piercings I would like. I decided I don't want the triple outer couch anymore. I have decided upon the industrial. It gives off that "badass" vibe and looks awesome! I would have it done on my left ear. I also would really like the belly button piercing! It looks really cute and has awesome jewelry you can put in it!

The other piercings I still want are tragus and daith; the tragus on my right ear and my daith on my right.

Jeff The Killer Playlist

My second character playlist is my favorite Creepypasta, Jeff. It consists of 9 songs. They are "Monster" by Skillet, "Whispers In the Dark" by Skillet, "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace, "Time Of Dying" by Three Days Grace, "Come Little Children" by Erutan, "Flesh" by Simon Curtis, "Labyrith" by Oomph, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To the Rhythm of War Drums" by Perfect Circle and "Criminal" by Britney Spears. Each song represents Jeff's insanity and thirst for killing. His insanity drove him to kill his family and carve a permanent smile into his face. If you encounter him, you would die. Now if you were insane or had a dark personality, he might not kill you. He might become interested in you, even like you. His methods of killing are, in human minds, disguising. Other people enjoy it. The amount of blood and putting his victims to "sleep".
"Come Little Children" is a song for all CreepyPastas such as Slenderman, BEN DROWNED, and Ticci Toby. "Criminal" is for Jeff fangirls who love him. I for one am not a fangirl. I like Jeff and the way he kills, but I will not chase him like the fangirls. -__- Whatever.

Newfound Music!

Newfound Music!

Over the past few months, I have been getting into more music! By music, I mean different artists. Through friends or recommendations no thanks to YouTube, I have discovered three new artists I like. They are Slipknot, Social Repose, and Motionless in White.

The first one I "discovered" was Slipknot. Though I was a bit familiar with some of their songs like "Devil In I", I only recently got into them; looked at their old and newer songs. My friend actually introduced me but I was the one who went deeper and found more of their startling songs. Some people link Slipknot or, for that matter, any heavy metal with "screaming" to "Devil worship". This is not the case. It is an expression of ones anger toward a certain topic. It is also part of our generation. Most people see heavy metal as "noise pollution" too. Though this may be true, there are other factors in life that are more important. Like global warming or the rain forest being destroyed for land and money. Society should really focus on our home rather than the sounds that surround it.
A lot of their songs, especially their old ones, have meaning behind the lyrics. Most "Pop" songs do not have any meaning and are just meant to be popular for a certain time, until the "next best one" comes out.
Though Slipknot may look scary, with their Halloween type masks, it is a way for the band to express themselves; To show what's on the inside. I personally love the creativity behind their masks and enjoy watching their music videos.
I enjoy a lot of their songs. From "Devil In I" to "(Sic)", they all sound appealing to my ears. The lyrics are relateble to most teenagers in life.
They are famous for their logo of the nonogram. Though some people think it is associated with the "Devil", it is not. It is specific to Slipknot because there are currently nine members in the band.
I have a playlist of my favorite songs. Be sure to check them out! https://www.youtube.com/watchv=9Nt0Cat5RO8&list=PLqJ08hND5rkW_RS2bcmoY6ogHUiU0PMqE

The next artist I discovered is Richie Giese, who goes by +Social Repose . My other friend, +Ash Glidewell , got me into him when she created an OC based on his face claim and started sharing his music videos with me. I found his music appealing and creative, though it is not all that heavy. He performs music covers, like "Call Me Maybe" and "Guns For Hands". He is an awesome artist, though not well known. I hope he is discovered by more people because he is an amazing and talented artist, especially with his loop and accapella covers. He is having an upcoming tour, called the Yalta tour. He recently came out with his album called "Yalta". I love every single song on it, especially the one called "Arctic Eyes". I do also love his song "If You're Thinking Of Leaving, You Should". He has been around since 2014, though his "costume" as a artist is new to 2015-2016.
Personally, I hope that I can see him on the Yalta tour. He sounds like an amazing guy. He also has a YouTube channel, which is how he shares his music videos, covers, and other entertaining thins he does in everyday life too.
Here is the playlist of his Yalta album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuke-sNRD9A&list=PLqJ08hND5rkUchKEQITU-wvvSVOoM7xVI
And here is a playlist of my favorite musicc he's done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLkVTwyyqBg&list=PLqJ08hND5rkVxyy8l25c5tJ-T-kx3q8rW

The next artist I got into was Motionless In White. Though I vaguely heard of them before, I didn't get interested into them until +Social Repose did a video on how to sing like Chris Motionless, the lead singer of the band. I started watching videos on YouTube (Yes, I spend a lot of time on YouTube) and liked a lot of their songs, especially their latest album "Reincarnate". Before I knew it, I had bought the album and couldn't stop listening to it. My favorites, though, were "Reincarnate", "Death March", 'Everybody Sells Cocaine", "Contempress", "Break The Cyccle", and "Final Dictvm". There were more songs than on that album that I liked such as "Dead As F*ck" and "Devil's Night".
I also found, in videos of Chris and his band, to be hilarious and outgoing.
Here is my playlist of my favorite songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqXuduYAALM&list=PLqJ08hND5rkVeUpHcm3GJo36q91WmgF7-

We must realize that members of our favorite bands are just like us, though they are famous. They were once in our situation and had to deal with whatever life threw at them. Through their lyrics of their songs, they help us to keep going and to overcome society's rules of life. We can overcome them and show the world who we are.

3 Month Helix Update!

3 MONTH HELIX UPDATE!

I have had my helix in for a little over 3 months. It has little to no pain but I still must sleep on my opposite side. I don't mind it though.

I have been doing sea salt soaks, rather use H2Ocean. It feels much better when I do them. I just hold the cup over my ear and piercing, and wait about a minute. After I take it off, I move the piercing around to make sure the seasalt gets into it.
I can't wait til it fully heals and I can put in different jewelry.

Hopefully I'll be able to get new piercings, like the daithe, tragus and the outer conch. i would like to get three in a row.

It is a new piercing I discovered and fell in love with. I would rather do that than the "punk" look with the spikes.
It quite cute and would look great on my right ear.

I'm also considering the belly button piercing, but I'm wavering between yes and no.I might not get it and I might get it. It all depends. You shouldn't get a piercing unless your absolutely sure. Same goes for tattoos. Though piercings may seem temporary, tattoos are not. They are a big decision if you choose to get one.
